Wood: “The hard fibrous material forming the main substance of the trunk or branches of a tree.”

With Sage being defined in a word as “wise” and wood is typically associated with being a strong dependable building material, the name “Sagewood” suggests it is a wise choice to build your new home in this strong new community.   

In choosing properties for new communities it has to “feel” right.  Call it feng shui if you like.  An example of this:  We have all walked into a home or business and thought “this just does not feel right” and we have all walked into places that make us feel comfortable.  In order to move a project forward we have to have the same positive feeling about the land and what is to be built on it, or we simply will not do the new community.  

The landowner, who owned the property that is now Sagewood, Herman Neuhaus, was a well liked gentle man.  we have been acquainted with him since the mid 1970’s.  He is deceased now, however we firmly believe that the good energy of this man and his family lives on in the property we know as Sagewood.  The location of a new community is always a top priority.  We chose the location for Sagewood for a number of reasons.  Proximity to shopping and services, as well as being located in the Elkhorn School District are just a few of those reasons.

We hope you will feel as good about Sagewood as we do.  It is a great place to call home!
