In choosing land for new communities, it has to “feel” right.  Call it feng shui if you like.  An example of this:  We have all walked into a home or business and thought “this just does not feel right,” and we have all walked into places that make us feel comfortable.  In order to move a project forward we have to have the same positive feeling about the land and what is to be built on it, or we simply will not develop the new community.   And Sagewood definitely has that feeling.

The landowner who owned the property that is now Sagewood, Herman Neuhaus, was a well liked, gentle man.  He is deceased now, however we firmly believe that the good energy of this man and his family lives on in the property we know as Sagewood.
 
The location of a new community is always a top priority.  We chose the location for Sagewood for a number of reasons.  It has interesting topography.  It is close to shopping and services.  It is located in the highly regarded Elkhorn School District. It is immediately south of the proposed new dam site, lake and recreation area 15A scheduled to be developed just to the north of Sagewood across Fort Street.  Really, when you think about, it just all comes together in Sagewood.

We hope you will feel as good about Sagewood as we do.  It is a great place to call home!
